I have taken a break for a reset and am currently neither doing corporate work nor practicing Reiki. My life and the state of the world have shifted greatly. These shifts have caused me to view everything from a new perspective.
I am fortunate enough to have the opportunity to take time to reflect on who I am and explore what my place in the world will be.
When I see so much hate and injustice, my heart tells me this cannot be all there is. I am beginning to believe the purpose of living at this moment in time is to correct the imbalance that exists between love and hate, between connection and division. This is not something that can be accomplished by one or even a few people. It requires a commitment on a more global and worldwide level.
It begs me to ask anyone who is reading this:
Where do you stand?
Are you content with the state of the world?
Are you on board with being part of change?
Where do YOU stand?
I believe it starts with the individual and learning to love yourself. Finding peace within changes how you see others. This is where the focus of my life has been for the past three years.
I have come to understand I have the power to make changes in my life that create changes for all of humanity by being the change I want for the world.
I will be partnering with other like-minded people with new projects and ideas to create a world where everyone matters
I encourage anyone reading these words to commit their words and actions to support connection rather than division in building the future of HUMANITY.
REIKI CHANGED MY LIFE
Reiki is an energy healing practice that works with the seven main energy centers, or Chakras, in the body. My personal soul-searching journey included regular Reiki sessions, as well as a daily practice of heart-centered meditation and journal writing. It was not an easy process, but as a result my life completely changed from the inside out. This led me to the creation of a safe place for healing, Star Room Reiki.
Reiki combines two Japanese words, “rei” meaning universal, and “ki,” the vital life force energy that flows through all living things. This healing practice works with the seven primary energy centers, or Chakras, in your body.
Our bodies are made up of energy. The energy flow is often affected by stress, trauma or illness. Reiki shifts the energy in the body to create balance and the opportunity for natural healing of the body, mind and spirit.
