trusting the path

I am a creature of habit. Over the years I have learned that in order to master a thing I need to do it consistently, almost as if I know it by heart. But what does know it by heart really mean?

Doing something the same way every time is efficient, dependable, reliable — all of those good words — but sometimes leaves you stuck in a routine. I decided it was time to apply a new meaning in my life for the term know it by heart.

Now, I “know it” because I “listen to my heart” and follow the path my heart sends me down. In doing this, I allow my heart to show me what it means to truly master the present moment. My heart is filled with love and forgiveness so I trust the path will be right for me. There will be opportunities to grow and to teach.

Most importantly, I am allowing myself to learn from those I meet on the path. And I am grateful for the lessons.
